About Kathryn

Kathryn is on a mission to make it easy for teachers to use technology in their classrooms. She is committed to helping teachers design and implement meaningful learning activities that support their curriculum while motivating
and engaging students.

Over the past 11 years, Kathryn has had the opportunity to teach each grade K-4, giving her the knowledge and experience to be able to support all grade level teachers with utilizing technology in their classrooms. She is a Google Certified Educator and holds a master’s degree in Educational Technology.

Kathryn was recognized as Teacher of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year for her dedication to her students, innovative teaching, and her enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge with her colleagues.

Why a Google Teacher?

Over the last 10 years, Kathryn saw the rise of schools acquiring Google Accounts for their students and teachers, but without the training and support for teachers to use them effectively.

After hearing from teachers across the U.S, she realized there was a need for step-by-step Google training to create meaningful activities that would enhance their current instruction, not add one more subject to teach.

Kathryn loves Google apps because of their ability to help students construct meaning, collaborate with peers, connect and share with a wider audience, and keep students engaged in learning.
